Good Faith Estimate
Kyden Counseling | Mack Kyles, LPC, MSW | Effective April 2026
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. This right is provided under the No Surprises Act (effective January 1, 2022).

Important Information
This Good Faith Estimate is based on information known at the time of your inquiry. The actual number of sessions you attend is determined collaboratively with your clinician based on your presenting situation and clinical progress. There is no required minimum or maximum number of sessions.
A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not require you to obtain services from this provider.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
